London 2012: Philipp's Double Defeat
30/07/12Philipp lost in singles and doubles at the Olympic Tennis Event in London on Monday. In his second-round match he was beaten by No. 7 seed Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia 6-3, 3-6, 4-6.
In the men's doubles, Philipp and fellow German Christopher Kas were ousted by Russians Mikhail Youzhny and Nikolay Davydenko 7-5, 7-5.
The Olympic Tennis Event hasn't finished yet for Philipp who will also compete in the mixed doubles with Angelique Kerber.
